WHY DO I DO IT ?
I have a restless mind, an ambitious imagination and a dark side. Photography enables me to translate my thoughts into visual images.
Ideas and questions become characters and places. Finally my thoughts and I are able to look each other in the eye, begin a dialogue and move forward.
HOW DO I DO IT ?
Even though I enjoy the advantages of the digital world I mostly begin the actual work with analog cameras. The results of images carved by light on film, working with material and having the privilege of an analog tempo is a big part of my creative process.
